Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg (July 1-3, 1863) — President Abraham Lincoln delivered a famous speech at the Gettysburg National Cemetery’s consecration following the three-day pivotal battle of the Civil War that was fought in central Pennsylvania, in and around the small town of Gettysburg.
