Paschaltide, also known as Eastertide or the "Great Fifty Days, is the liturgical season in Christianity that lasts for 50 days, ending in Western Christianity on Pentecost Sunday. This time of year spans from the resurrection of Jesus to the descent of the Holy Spirit, covering the 40 days of his post-resurrection appearances and the 10 days leading to Pentecost.
