This episode was featured originally in Garry and my 12 part series on the 12 Minor Prophets of the Old Testament. I wanted to reintroduce this episode to recapitulate the literary background and context for the building of the Second Temple. These prophets were instrumental in getting the 2nd Temple of Jerusalem built after the Judeans were allowed to return after the Babylonian Exile. Will this 2nd Temple will be rebuilt? Maybe it will, maybe it won’t.
