Today we will shoot for the stars and maybe shoot some bugs as we talk about the 1997 film Starship Troopers. The movie is based on the 1959 novel Starship Troopers by Robert Heinlein. In this episode, Mustache Chris and I will talk about some of the big themes about society and humanity that this film and movie bring up. They are universal themes that director Paul Verhoeven and author Robert Heinlein took in very different directions.
